Welcome to the Lab, Jie, Tingyu, and Yichen
Jie Xie, Tingyu Bai, and Yichen Guo joined Zheng Lab in 2026 as a PhD student, a master's student, and a research assistant, respectively.
We are delighted to welcome Jie Xie, Tingyu Bai, and Yichen Guo to Zheng Lab in Fall 2026.
Jie joined us as a PhD student. He is from Zunyi, Guizhou, and enjoys birding and playing basketball.
Tingyu joined us as a master’s student. She is from Anshan, Liaoning, and is looking forward to her first field survey in the Zhangjiang Estuary.
Yichen, from Xuzhou, Jiangsu, joined us as a research assistant. He is passionate about observing and drawing the natural world.
We celebrated their arrival at our first lab dinner of 2026. It was wonderful to have everyone together and raise a glass to our new members and the year ahead.
